Help what mod would my second hand RR12 have had? Wiring spliced to main loom on air filter box.

    As the post title, I fitted a new K&N air filter to my RR12 on the weekend. I noticed two wires cut off which had been spliced into the loom where the connectors are on the top of the air box.
    One connected to the green and yellow and one to the blue cable on the main connector block.
    I have removed them and heat shrunk the cables.

    Possibly some kind of alarm that's been removed, don't think it would be a PC as that plugs in to the injectors plus power from battery and a wire to the TPS... as most of the electrics are in that area can you trace them? Do they go to the ECU?

    I had a Suzuki 1000 with an ejector seat, that was linked to the back wheel though :)

    I checked a diagram today, I think you are right Dave, trying to follow a poor PDF of the diagram it looks like its linked to the engine stop switch.

    Yeah sounds like the left overs of an alarm to me. Had a similar thing with mine. But it was me who removed it so I knew for sure
