SPS, thank you for the pictures. Loving that SP2. Think I am going to have one of those chats with the missus that goes like this. (obviously she must me in the right mood) "Do you know as we have next years holiday paid for and we have paid for all the kids Christmas presents, well my bike is getting a bit old now and soon it will start needed expensive parts changing". If I can get that far and not get a massive "No" it is looking good.
Before you said about team Honda team Bmw? I've got a Honda sat next to my Bmw! You say Bmw is to much money, mines stands me at less then my blade and I bet I could make money on my Bmw! The arse has dropped out of the out going blade! You was slating electronic's on bikes! What now are they the best thing now Honda have caught up years later? The new blade has thing the Bmw had a few years ago. I really don't get how you can slate a bike you have never ridden, but from what you have read. At the end of the day we all like different thing or the world be a be a boring place. Oh and can you do custom map by ear? As said I think Honda are letting their customers down, look at cb1000r. I bet more people on here don't own a blade now
A little Gucci using an Rizomo brake res pot! Least it wouldn't have taken 6 hours to bleed the brakes
Is it just me or does it still look 'big' ? Most of the newer bikes are becoming more compact but the new Blade looks as big as ever. Maybe just the pictures. Those magnesium colour side cases are twatful along with those lumps on the frame, whatever they are for. If Kawasaki and Suzuki are using the new Showa's why are Honda still using the same forks they have used since around 2012.
Anyone know the weight difference between std current blade and stock "new" one ? Or is the weight saving the same as SP 1/2 ?

What do people who sat on it think to the riding position? To me, the footpeg position felt similar, but the bars felt a good way further forward (in comparison to my RR-E).
I don't want to go over all this again, and bore people on this forum - but this is Honda Fireblade's party, and I can bitch about beastly BMWs if I like.
Thanks. To me, the weight saving is the only thing they have over the competition. Unless they make it £10k !!
It's going to need all the help it can as it's still 10/15 BHP down on its main rivals! But I do know weight has a massive impact on performance handling and braking mines lost around 28kgs since last year and has totally transformed the bike 10k!!!!! You wish
