hi all, i have just been bought some OXFORD PREMIUM SPORTS HOT GRIPS, havent put them on my 2010 blade yet. are they any good? im also trying to suss out where the easiest place to put the controller?
I had the Honda dealership put them on. They were doing a deal last Xmas. They are wired into the loom, not straight to the battery.
Had a set fitted a few months ago, look neat , personally pleased with the heat output on a chilly run, but last week out in temp of 4' hands eventually got coldish despite having them on full power, but could have been more due that I suffer from Raynards in my fingers, would I fit them again on next bike, most certainly.
They are top..... You'll become a heat junkie..... Mine are wired direct to the battery, switch themselves off if you forget.... I've never had them on 100% yet and I ride all year round.
And....this is what's wrong with the world! Godamm it men........ Heated gloves!! .......get a grip!! Us women want rough tough tumbly "hey little lady' (in a deep masculine voice) type guys Bloody heated grips
Haha! You say that but I suffer from poor circulation in my hands, which results in them getting very cold and numb very quickly. Which results in a lack of concentration. They're one of the best bits of kit I've bought
I've been out on my other bike today - with heated grips - best invention ever. I saw this sign on the dash a few times (first time I have seen it - shows at temperatures 3C or less) :-
Ha...you see my old 11 plate has none of that temp reading nonsense..... It's a case of....brrrrr think I need to stop for another latte & 5 minute hand warm under the bog dryer
