Hi All, Here's what could be a simple question, I'm trying to fit a track fairing tail section to my stock 2010 blade. I had same one on mine but had to mod rear subframe (end joining bolt gets cut off) with just yourself riding no real issues but I bridged frame with mild steel and never had any issues
Thanks Rob, seems like a cheaper alternative to buying a HRC subframe although it does stump me if it's ever to go back on the road I guess. What's with the white plastic panel over the battery area?
That's a seat protector to beef up the fibreglass tail unit..... for that particular tail section (pro fibre).

Hi Glen, you've pretty much got to the same point as I did a year or so back. Bought an ex race sub frame. Started by cutting off the bolt bit and then worked my way down to were you are. Still wouldn't work. I had a Replicast unit which is possibly a bit thicker that some others. Anyway gone back to the Superstock seat unit. Might do a hybrid one day, supersport front section with the HRC rear section (without numberplate / rearlight moulding). Just need to find a cheap or free broken HRC unit to perform the surgery.
Ello mate - think I've just about thrown in the towel as I've cut the subframe back even further now, in fact I'd struggle to cut off more. My only option now is as you say put the original subframe back on and run a Superstock unit which is annoying - which one did you buy?
