    You might want to look also into something being mechanically amiss (like SP1 suggestion); example engine to chassis mounting bolts, bushes etc.
    From other people's feedback (as mine is) you can take it CBR engines are smooth (by motorbike standards and people don't generally have the numbness issue on a normal bike.
    Assuming you riding style is not cause of it, then it could be your physical construction (like I get easily get cramps on my CBR) and not the bike.
    Incidentally, have you looked into bar risers? or wearing more padded gloves?

    Thanks for your interest, and I was about to update my finding so far!
    Firstly I agree riding style can aggravate, I have learned that and accept that some tank grips would help support weight otherwise on our hands. Also, the engine mounts will be checked later this month, but the guy who works on the bike has never seen a factory torqued, safety critical bolt become loose on a Honda in his 30years as a mechanic, especially on a low mileage bike like mine (6000). I would be delighted to find one has come loose but I put the chance of that at zero, to be honest.
    So, back to vibration. I am not referring to the low amplitude stuff a Harley generates but a high frequency buzz that grows with revs. In-line 4s are notorious for this, even with a balance shaft. It is there on every manufacture of bike I've tried. You just need to rev the engine and touch the top bridge. It is also to be expected when for reasons of stiffness and weight reduction the engine is hard mounted into the frame. The manufacturers give the game away by fitting bar end weights, albeit, no more than a token gesture in terms of effectiveness. If there was no vibration they wouldn't fit bar end weight systems.
    Each seem to have their own approach. Honda use an external weight attached to a rubber suspended internal bar insert. Kawasaki I notice, prefer a rubber mounted collet affair to hold an external weight, and BMW seem to use a hard fixed arrangement, as far as I can tell.
    My OEM bar weight assembly is made of a cheap cast alloy, probably a Zamak. The same part is used across different bikes which tells you how little thought has gone in!
    So, I've bought OEM compatible bar end weights with different mass. The OEM are 124gms each, and I've tried 357gms and I'm currently using 408gms. A machine shop are making me a pair at 750gms each and I may have the internal inserts remade in steel too. The rubber parts can be remade in Oring material of varying compliance to try to match the increasing suspended mass. Also, I've tried aftermarket collet fitting bar weights that require the OEM inserts removing. They were 101gms and 228 gms.
    My findings were:
    101gms collet fixed, even worse than OEM with visible movement of the bar end at high revs
    228gms collet fixed, better than OEM but only helped for a few miles at constant revs
    357gms OEM insert fixed, better, took noticeably longer to trigger the numbness
    408gms OEM insert fixed, felt a lot smoother and seemed to move the buzz up the rev range, numbness arrived though
    Next I fitted Helibars with the 408gm weights to see if a raised riding position helped. It felt more comfortable certainly, and my neck cramp has all but gone, but after a while the numbness arrived and also a curious tingling that wasn't there before, which I'm guessing is due to the Helibars being aluminium while the OEM bar is steel pegged onto a cast aluminium clamp.
    Finally, I've bought a Sargent seat, that's fantastic, miles better than the slippy OEM affair.
    The search goes on but I think its very complex and bike specific in its reduction.

    Here's a solution that works. Numbness completely gone, but still when I get off my hands tingle a little for 30secs or so. image.jpg

    They are big bar end weights! I have had four Blades (the first one was the same model as yours) and I have had no vibration issues whatsoever - in fact they are the smoothest bikes I have rode! (I'd agree with the 'Sewing Machine Like' description above). You could do with testing another Blade and see how you get on with that.

    If you think a Blade vibrates try a S1000XR. I came close to buying one but the test ride totally put me off (great bike other than the vibration).

    I have two RR7s both buzz in the bars. I can measure the difference between the larger and OEM bar ends, not just subjective, measure it.
    I'm not sure what your point is, do you think I'm imagining it? or are you special?
    I've tuned out the resonance and a BMW owner could, with a fair bit of effort, do the same.

    :) My point is that I haven't experienced this with the 4 Blades I have had, so it might be something specific to your bike - so try another one to compare. I didn't realise you have 2 x RR7s that both have the same issue (apologies if I have missed this in the thread).
