I've just had my wheels off to change my tyres and when I've put them back in I'm not sure how freely the front wheel should spin after everything's back together. If I give the wheel a fairly forceful spin I get maybe a couple of turns before the brakes stop the wheel. Is this right?
Haha. Didn't even realise it was you that had posted up till I replied mate. Others will confirm it but it is normal. 1 way to test that theory is to remove the callipers and then try spinning the wheel then. You'll soon see the difference. Those wheels just got new 'Allsballs Racing' bearings about 500 miles ago so will be sweet.
Needing any little trinkets for it mate? Found a few bits laying around while is was clearing the garage. There's a Rizoma rear brake pot cap there, a Rizoma oil filler cap (brand new in the box) and Sato street hooks there.
The missus thought I was out in the garage working for several hours last Friday night. I was actually just out there tinkering, listening to music and getting slowly rat-arsed
They let you take on or off the footpegs without the hassle of splitting the subframe every time. They also have tie down point on them so you can transport the bike safely in a van or if your lucky a ferry.
The pegs are unlikely to go back on but it could be useful to have them as a tie down if I do a Euro tour.
