Thanks very much, that makes sense. I've just fitted the qat but no dry roads are playing havoc with my "testing"! I'll get used to the throttle first before I play with the gearing.
I'm gonna do the same, I've jus got an Accossato QAT so I'll be fitting that next Friday then testing when we have some dry weather and see how it goes, is it a big difference?
I went canny at the beginning; the switch from ninety degree to sixty degree throttle movement was noticeable but not unnerving or surprising. I'm really looking forward to the summer. Punisher- when you fit your throttle, could you let me know if you have to route your cables above the brakes? Mine are acco cables too and I can't find any way to route under the brake without fouling on the lock.
Yeah I'll have a look mate, I've not even looked at it yet but I'm gonna try and route them along the path of the original cables. I'm not sure which tube to try first or how easy they are to change if it's not right.
it's meant to be a doddle to change. I'd imagine it's just a case of loosening off the cables, opening the housing and swapping the cams.
It's not a massive difference just have to be more mindful of your throttle control especially the off/on throttle transition. It stuffed up my wheelies for a while haha
I'm not really one for wheelies anyway but getting back on the throttle mid corner on track is where i'll have to be careful i reckon. I only want it so i dont have to contort my whole arm to get full throttle.
