I have just been reading a review of the base model ont net. Apparently, there are two price options; ABS and non-ABS. I thought all new bikes have to be ABS. And one other thing, will the new ABS system work?
American magazine! They still get the choice of abs or non abs Would be interested to know what the weight of the non abs model is Had we of broken away from Europe 5 years ago we could of still had that choice too, as it's a European ruling that states bikes must have abs
According to same publication non abs curb weight is 195kg.....& is £13,386 if you live in the good old USA
Intrestingly the average median household income in the US is much higher than the here! Hmm...same old pants being pulled down again UK
Yep found this out when I went training with my parent company in the states! Roughly £5k more per year for doing same job but only needs knowledge of one machine instead of three and cost of living is roughly a third less than here not including car and house prices which are even cheaper
First of all great guy I have already started the thread months ago. 2017 HONDA stick to it as becomes confusing and the hits is going along fine ha ha not for mad mat tho ,nowt personal mat just a bit fun . The front and rear brakes of a motorcycle respond to the braking behavior of the driver in completely different ways. While the front brake is often used too little in the event of an emergency out of fear of the bike rolling over, the rear wheel is braked too strongly and lock. The ABS enhanced system from Bosch provides the solution to this problem: Thanks to an electronic Combined Brake System (eCBS), the braking pressure is optimally distributed between front and rear wheels — regardless of which brake the driver uses. Whether it is at a traffic light that changes suddenly or to avoid an accident in an emergency: ABS enhanced calculates the optimum braking force distribution for every braking scenario.the honda used the C-ABS which has now reverted to the Bosch system and it can be manually switched off .This system has been proven and tested but quote me if I am wrong nothing on the scale of honda with the old cabs. U ARE A HIGH JACKER GREAT GUY
Would differently go for the ABS model if I was considering getting a new blade State side. Had a Bosch ABS system on my previous bike, Triumph Tiger Sport 1050, which worked a treat and was able to change the brake fluid DIY at home.
