So what you saying... the bikes not competitive lol....

Not so dangerous he rode it at the NW (which is pretty dangerous too) or went to the TT on it..

Either way, seems pointless debating it.

Not a MD hater, think he is a top top rider.... hope he goes well on the suzuki, looks a mega bike.

I think there was probably more to it than just bike issues, perhaps he didn't have the confidence in Shaun Muirs team that he does in Steve Hickens team after all Yamaha did drop SMR at the end of 2015.

In my opinion the R1 isn't a great bike and only Josh Brooks rode it sucsessfully in BSB. It didntget anywhere in BSB last year or WSB.
As for Dunlop isn't the Suzuki run by the Hickens it sound like Dunlop has confidence in the team as well as a well prepared new model bike.

As for Guy Martin, I'm sorry to say that he will never win a TT, I don't think he has the attention span for 6 laps of pure concentration.

I hope he does but I don't think so

Personally I think Guy has just had bad luck on the TT! and if his attention span isn't enough for 6 laps how come so many podium finishes? 15 to date including a few 2nd places

He hasn't won anything though, I just don't think he's got that extra 10% required to bring him inline with Dunlop and JM and gain a win he craves.

I like Guy and like I said I really hope he achieves his dream and stays in one piece.
