2017 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade 36 monthly repayments of £119 OTR price: £15,225 Deposit: £3443.66 + £750 Honda UK deposit contribution Optional final payment: £8466.90 It is almost as though Honda don't want cash buyers anymore. Total of £7727 over 3 years and then you just give it back or pay them another £8466?! Honda still haven't product a brochure for the 2017 yet?!
Totally agree mate. I don't want to PCP a bike as I want it as my own. Not just Honda but as brought up before it's the whole car/bike sector that wants you to go down the PCP route.
that's why the price hike things... Happened about ten years ago with cars.... Make them unobtainable for the masses.... But offer low rate alternative finance so you can still have ownership....conspiracy ha. blame the iphone generation of wanting everything now but not having the capital or worked for it in the first place..... oh wait.... How much a month again?? Well cheap
Well................apart from the several winter months it's sat in the wussy riders garages chewing £119 for nowt
Is there an official UK launch date for the bike yet? - it is still listed as 'coming soon' on the Honda website - and still no brochure. Suzukis brochure looks good https://www.suzuki-gb.co.uk/motorcycles/about/contact-us/gsx-r1000/
Local dealer quoted mid march to me recently! But that's already gone back from the February date that was advised to start with
Anyone seen em in the flesh yet? thoughts? had a good look round the base model at the show and got to admit, wasn't that impressed.
I think the gopping black plastic blanking plates bolted on are like something from an early 1980's Datsun - not a £15k so called 'new' superbike Sorry Honda, but this is all I keep thinking when I read the term 'new' Fireblade and see all the parts from my 2008 / 2014 bike in use
Are you leaving the blanking covers removed from your bike ? Thanks for those pictures - looks great seeing a brand new bike - shame weather still really poor , few more weeks you can report back on road tests
See they still couldn't afford to be giving you a Ohlins spring preload adjuster knob!!! poor show Honda
I hope the hose is the only piece made in China. Some Carbon Fibre goodness would be nice for the price (note R1M)
Will be interesting to see what the magazines and papers say about it! And which version they test and compare it against
