Having recently read a thread about headlight covers I have decided that an alternative option would be to buy some tinted film that can be used to cover the headlight lens, offering a little bit of protection but primarily some aesthetics.

I have found a light-iridium thin film that claims to allow 90% of brightness through, however does not come pre-cut.

The best option would be to remove the headlight assembly and apply the film directly to the removed headlights, but this seems a complex job.

This is a big ask, but would anybody happen to have a template (cut out) of the 2012 Fireblade headlight shape that would make application easier? If not, can anybody offer advice on the headlight assembly removal process please?

    Thanks as always,

    Martin

You could mount tracing paper with frog tape and make your templates yourself
