Was just interested in what everybody has for summer scratching. I have a Dianese avro 2 piece, sidi st boots, handroid gloves and an old shoei, not sure what model it is, but wish I could remember due to needing a new visor til I can afford a new lid. I used to get my leathers from a well known outlet, @£300 a set, but they only seem to last one half decent crash then they're pretty much lunched. My last helmet (arai) was worth the money even if I did only have it 3 days. Definately saved my life, it was split wide open right down to the lining, and I always wondered if a cheaper one would have taken the same impact.
For me it's either my Scott 1 piece Repsol replica ( yes I know I'm one of those sad all the gear no idea merchants) or my Wolf two piece.....gloves either AStars or Nankai...boots currently Sidi Vortex but recent bought A Stars SMX+......lid is a Shoei X Spirit but also have a Colin Edwards Arai RR Can certainly vouch for Wolf bounceability and Nankai slide protection...!..luckily the old bonce did'nt get tested

ts gotta be said for the speed I crashed on a bend my kit reaaaly did hold up well those gloves saved my fingers if it hadnt had the steel nuckle protector on it my wrist would be smashed as tthe steel actually smashed crashed in arai Viper GT few little marks Teknic Race gloves think they are speedstar knox scafoid protectors kevlar on fingers kangaroo palms and steel insert across nuckles which smashed to bits and the knox scafoid protectors wore down but still some to go spidi XPD -7 boots few scrapes but ready to go again considering it was pinned under the bike for a fair few meters impressive bks silverstone 1pc suit didnt wear through just blew a small seam along the arm from the inner lining and a few scrapes on the shoulder part from that usable again at a pinch not that I'd risk it but having said that roll on the dianese stuff Im getting in a month the new avro race suit the top of the range inner boots full metal racer gloves and a back protector use the dianese 2 pc waterproofs also really good dont get the 1 pc though my dads got that its a nightmare hahaha and got a rx7 arai Lid to replace my viper
