Anyone used these yet? Any noticabke difference over the k3 interact?

My current k3 isnt far off the markers and also got a small split which i dont like the look of, must have whacked something when out on saturday.

I had a set on my 08 Blade. Great tyre, super sticky and reasonable mileage from them. Downside is they are not great in the wet. The grooves stop about 3/4 way from the edge of the tyre so if you lean anymore than that you are basically on slicks. I changed them up for the Metzler Sportec M7 RR, they are the best tyres I've used in a long time.

I've got a lightly-used set for sale if you're interested.

I found the m7rr perfect on the road but a bit squirmy on the track when on the very edge, that could well have been down to my suspension or riding style lol but i found with the k3 it felt much more consistent. As an all round tyre i don't think you can beat the m7 though.

Yeah. 120/70 and 190/55. I hadn't really thought of a price. They were on my bike when I bought it. Not very old. I use my Blade just for road use so super-sticky rubber wasn't a priority. I'll take a look at the tread levels and take some photos and PM them to you when I get home tonight.

Crossed wires meant ive ended up back on m7rr! Was looking forward to trying out the racetec but they didnt have them in stock and with the rear past the wear markers and having a split in it i had to go with m7 so i can get out over the weekend.

    Next time hopefully :)

It's a pain in the arse, love the shape of it but getting it to fit right is a nightmare and ive just bolted it back on after stripping the bike down over winter. Needs some fettling!

Just to be clear, they're actually Racetec Interact K3.
