Speedflip ? Number plate flipper

I prefer to keep my licence a little longer, so wanted to purchase one of these, anyone seen it or got one installed already ?

Lol don't let the police ever catch you with one mate or its more than your licence as perverting the course of justice can carry a jail sentence, lose of licence and huge fine, why not just ride safe, you your eyes to spot dangers ahead and do lots of track days for the speed buzz

You have a desire to lose your licence and potentially do some jail time do you?

Additionally, if get caught with it fited you get your own personal club number with the Criminal Records Office (which stays with you for life), and it causes major issues because it is deemed as a conviction for dishonesty, unlike something like ABH or assault.

Your bike can also be seized and sent to the crusher.

So whilst I understand your sentiments, you are looking at going about it totally the wrong way as what you are looking at could really drop you in the poo even deeper than a bit of excess speed ever could.

Your best preventitive measure to keeping your licence?

Eyes wide open, 100% concentration and restrained right wrist, especially in the posted restricted limits such as the 30's, 40's and 50's....

 

Probably get less punishment just running with no plate on to be honest! Massive agree with t.c just be careful in the limited areas and keep your eyes peeled in clearway areas. I normally potter out and go a bit quicker on the way back. Round our end the camera vans all use the same spots so it's simple to just travel slower in them areas

 

Agree with all the other posts, definitely not worth the risk is it really worth taking a chance?

Forgive my naivety, but just out of interest, how would this work?

You spot a camera / van with enough time to flip the plate but not enough to slow down? Or you just ride around with no plate on display?

Sounds unlikely that it would help and as said, I imagine the fuzz will push for the highest possible penalty against you as soon as it's noticed.

 

Great piece of kit, use them on my cars and bike and deliberately speed past speed cameras, never had a speeding ticket, also come in handy in these stupid 20mph zones near schools, how the feck are you supposed to pull a power wheelie at 20mph.....

 

Which one did you install Matt ? Does it mess up the back of the bike as it looks a little chunky in the pictures
