heal tech or hm

    Which one is best?
    Heal tech can adjust kill time so does that mean 1st to 2nd is safe?

    ive just fitted a hm pluss ss and it seems very good , no probs with shifting , but you cant use it from 1st to 2nd ive been told due to the kill time between them.

    The ss is the one I wanted. Are u sure about the 1st 2nd gear? Surprised if so. There's a hm plus for sale on here. They get nothing but praise

    yer so I got told and I haven't tried it , a bit of a pain to fit but it was worth it . I bought it off a guy on here , spot on.

    no I meant I haven't tried 1st to 2nd gear lol , but the shifter is great and had no probs with it , and it makes you keep gearing down to shift back up , lol , what shifter have you got ?

    I'v not got one yet. I was going to get the ss but bought sp suspension instead:D

    Hm gp is the one you want if you want to shift 1st to 2nd gear, fully programmable in every gear for shift and kill times

    As mentioned don't use the QS for 1st - 2nd gear ... iirc only the translogic and HM SS can do this due to the ability to modify kill time for each gear.

    I have the HM plus which is fixed kill time for each gear (60ms) and use it from 2nd gear up ... in 20k miles it's been awesome :)

    One of the best mods I've done.

    Yeah I thought the ss could. To be honest I thought the plus did as well.
