Mods... I've tried uploading some photos over the last week & it's saying they're too big...nothings changed from my end with photos that normally upload OK!?! Any ideas?
Yeah it usually uploads mine ok but seems to be if I take a photo with phone horizonal it doesn't like the photo! Too many pixels maybe!?! Does it create more pixels doing that? Gawd knows
Photos with lots of different colours will be larger in size than those taken in darker environments! Average smart phone pictures now are roughly 4.5mb per photo Think the photo file limit is about 4mb per photo on the forum as I've had the same problems trying to upload some photos

Ahh...every days a schoolday! So...if I wait till its going dark before I take any pics for the forum...I should be ok
Just tried one straight from camera and it bitched about it but the same file at 1000 pixels in it's long dimension seemed fine. I tend to resize all images I want to put online first so I've not come across this problem before. The point of course is that if it's never caused Lozzy a problem in the past, then what's changed to make it a problem now... I'll report it back and see if there's any reason.
Just for info Ken, it's the same phone I'm using & it's all I use for the forum. I've tried really sizing the horizontal photos but it seems to make it worse. However I am a total technophobe so maybe I've altered something by mistake on all the camera settings it's got
Right...so these 2 were taken camera phone upright but an identical one I took of the 1st pic with phone horizonal won't load?
Just tried the same thing, Loz. It's not you. It doesn't want to upload landscape images, only portrait ones, from my phone. Might be a frame size thing in the coding. I'll ask.
I tried to upload a picture of my battery which exploded under the seat on Friday at the Ulster GP but it won't accept it and that's a landscape one
