to be honest mate never wanted to part with the bmw, but bmw kinda forced my hand. Took it in for a service and warranty check, they washed it for me in tfr or wheel acid on 28th of Jan. The bike was wreaked, I refused and o take it home until sorted. They had a few attempts at it, changed bar ends, mirrors and belly pan. The fame had milky marks all over it paid for 2 indipenent insepection to be carried out, who ch both said bike was right off. Dealer was wankers, tried fobbing me off charging me storage. The further damaged it trying to clean it, was scratched all over. Got paid out on their insurance last week. Got a god deal on rsv4 cheaper then sp1 not my ch more then standard blade and that with ackra can and ecu unlock, evotech rad and oil guard . I've used 3 bmw dealers and only one was any use
Thats not the first time ive heard of them using TFR amd ruining a bike, you would think they would learn the lesson. My local bm dealer is a total shambles, so much so that my 2 mates will travel to scotland to have theirs serviced. Last thing i heard of the local one was dropping a bike off the ramps and sending it out with brake fluid all over the front wheel!
I tried a hayabusa, lovely bike but not enough to trade my blade, shame they don’t make a 1000cc light version. I always go back to a 10 repsol, more power lower down than the new ones.
I don't like many bikes these days, and there are very few that are on the short list. I would sell the blade for a HP4. Also like the 1290 super duke R. And that is pretty much the two other bikes right now that i fancy.
GSX-R Not sure what to make of the new white one though. I do like it in white - but it is up against a very nice blue !
If the pic above was red had a Italian brand on it and cost 10k more the press would be having a w......k over it.
Much hate against my post there haha. I think the Ducati V4 is lighter and has more power? The electronics is also better? Proper slide control on the new ducati. Oh well.
