I posted just because it’s so nice, my local Honda main dealer to me yesterday that next years CBR is like no other, hence my searching.
Are they keeping the current colour schemes, I was hoping for an HRC inspired one or it might be Repsol version if previous years are any indication.
I was told by my dealer that they might not make any repsol models anymore. I hope they change the paint though as all the 2017 models look poor at best
With any luck it won't have any BOSCH electronics in it. I would argue that Honda would have a good case in dropping BOSCH - as they have been found guilty of involvement in the emissions cheating scandal that allowed significant parts of the German auto industry to gain an illegal unfair advantage. If I was CEO of Honda I think it would be perfectly justifiable in asking whether BOSCH are a suitable and reputable strategic partner for a company like Honda. "Bosch worked closely with Volkswagen to tailor the ECU for the EA 189 motor, while maintaining tight control over the code.It would have been difficult, if not impossible, for Volkswagen to modify the software without Bosch's approval. Bosch betrayed concern that it was aware of the legal risks. In June 2008, a Bosch executive wrote to Volkswagen warning that the use of a defeat device was prohibited by U.S law, and asked Volkswagen to indemnify it against any legal consequences........As far as it is known Volkswagen refused." I do not have a car - although I did once own a Land Rover Discovery 300TDI in metallic green. I painted the roof white to help stay cool in the summer as it did not have any aircon.
