they did a limited edition of 100 units with matching yellow pillion seat cover. This was a final clincher for me as I prefer plain with no colour scheme but not red or black! here is what it looks like
Yeah, like that allot, chances of me finding one of them is slim no doubt. I bet they hold their value more too. Same, just not keen any colour scheme & only like plain, hence why I'm after the dark red & black one. Although I'm now adding this yellow to the list
I think there was also a ehite version but not limited edition though. not sure where you are based but if close enough to wiltshire, might be worth a look
@Leeb - would you consider an RR-7? I've had a couple of the more recent models but have now gone back to an RR-7 and love it. I was lucky to find a HRC RR-7 with only 6000 miles on it. It's all about personal preference I suppose but I feel more at home on an RR-7 than I did on any of the later bikes.
Erm, not sure. Never ridden one to be fair. But again it's just personal pref & looks for me, I just like the look of the rounder headlight blade. I know everyone has been saying buy the newer one etc etc, but I just don't like the look of it as much, if it's not the 08-11 blade I'd look at something else rather than buy the newer shape one.
I had a Winning Red 08, ran it all year round for a couple of years and never had a single problem. I even rode it home through a full on blizzard, passed cars pulled over at the side of the road. Only thing I ever did was service it when it was due.
now you are tempting me. I would let it go for a good +++ price and a good home. not far from from north wiltshire depending which side of the county you are in
16k, engine was knackered. Bought a replacement engine from flea bay, had it fitted, it now owes me £5k, which I think is still the right side of its value ?
