Hello Guys I want to purchase the RAM mount so that I can use my phone for navigation but its coming to approx £70 and it pains me to spend that on a mount! Alternatively am thinking to purchase a Sena Bluetooth headset and just listen to the navigation. Am curious to see if anyone here uses something like google maps nav by just listening and if its accurate enough? Would rather do this so I am not peeking down at a screen but not sure how practical it is.
i have done that mate and not had a problem, have a look at a place called buybits you might find something on there?
So I tried connecting a regular headphone to my phone and went from North london to south using google maps and not watching the screen. It worked fine. I missed one turning in central london but deffo made my mind up. Have ordered a £3.50 headphone that is flat and can go in the helmet from ebay and it should do the trick just in case anyone is having the same dilemma.
Had a sena 20s for 2 years, all fine and all until it rained, the unit itself is sealed but the base is not which make it crap itself when wet. Have a Cardo Smarth now which is a bit lighter and tugs into my HJC better, Cardo do a Q solo which is just a bluetooth headset, looks smaller than any sena I ve had, might worth a look at it.
