What's this?

The little plastic cover that goes over the top of the dash.

Seen quite a few blades now, most don't seem to have it fitted but some do?

 

I saw one on an accessories website, but can't remember which one. (Not much help, sorry) Marketed as speedo sunscreen or similar to cut glare from sun onto speedo.

Yeah you don’t need it , youll know your going fast without having to look at the speedo

 

Came as standard on my screen when I upgraded to the sports screen. Looks cool, and gives shade the speedo etc.

 

Didnt the double bubble use to melt the speedo in sun like a magnifying glass

 

Ye id say that's what it's for , iv seen a 954 blade with melted clocks from a double bubble
