There is more than a touch of irony in 'Unity' putting up a bold 'disclaimer' and then purporting to do EXACTLY what he/she professes others NOT TO DO, but justifies it under the banner of: 'However I value truth, freedom and self-responsibility above anything.' It insults members who have offered prudent advice. Lozzy's severed finger pic must provide the greatest incentive EVER to not oil a chain with the wheel spinning from a running engine. Sure, it is a 'dangerous world', but why would we subject ourselves to a danger when there is absolutely no need to? Does the element of risk outweigh saving, perhaps, only two or three minutes? I know we must observe on here the right of 'each to their own', so I offer no criticism, only comment.
To be fair he’s obviously a slow learner going by the statement he made earlier about having received “a bunch of electric shocks”.........
I however have no issues offering criticism, he sounds a downright cock if you ask me! I would dread the thought of riding with or even near him on the road
There’s 2 things I can’t believe. 1, Why this thread even exists 2, Why I spent ages reading it all haha
I never realised that lubricating your chain was such a difficult task that it would need this length of discussion or the question asked about the paddock stand in the first place. Can't quite believe it's got as many responses as it has to be fair! Jesus wept haha
I have sat on my bike in the past on the rear paddock stand when I have say fitted a quick shifter or rear sets. My stands are very good gee-tech or Harris never had a problem. As for putting the bike in gear and lubing the chain NEVER don’t see the need or risk.
