Can someone please recommend a link to the best red rim tape? I have seen 9-piece Chinese which I think will not look good because it has to overlap. I did buy some R & G, but now I have it I don't like the tapered ends. I only want plain red - no motifs. USA has some, but it's 12 quid postage. Cheers!

I used to use a roll of 'go faster stripe' that you can get from those little car supplies shops in anyone' home town. They come in all the colours you'd want and will go round the whole rim without a load of joins. Just warm it up a little to make it more flexible to stretch round the rim. Much cheaper and if you go off it you can just rip it off and start again......couple of quid a roll !!
I know you say you don't want motifs but they can look pretty good.... I snaffled this pic of the ones on Muffkings. He swears they make it go faster
Cheers, Paul and Lozzy. It's not that I don't like motifs; I already have them and aligned with my 3-spoke wheels. (See pic) I want to run tape between them. I do know of a local motor shop that sells that tape (Paul) and that might be a reasonable solution -- assuming the quality is okay. I just can't seem to justify the 40-odd quid Honda charges for their own!!
The small roll’s from demon tweeks/ sportsbikeshop are pretty good/durable and come with an applicator. Had it on a few bikes and never had it come off yet and I use my bike in all conditions
Nice pic, Lozzy. It nearly set off my OCD. I was more interested in noticing the added bulk ABS adds beneath the tail cowl. Can't say that I've particularly noticed before. Merry Christmas!
