I'm looking at getting a Taylor made exhaust for the lady.. Does anyone know what they sound like or would recommend it?

Hi Robbo......not sure what they sound like maybe have a look on you tube, might give you an idea.

I was going to get one as they do look really good (vague resemblance for yamaha moto gp exhaust) but I think they are purely for looking good. For the same price you could get a much better quality exhaust from any of the top manufacturers.

I ended up with a 'racefit growler 2' made out of 100% titanium (even the baffle). Hand made in the UK too!

From what I've heard they are LOUD as feck. They look awesome tho if mine didn't have a can on when I got it that was what I'd have bought

Yes very loud.......border line too loud but they do look the part, plus you get a carbon fibre in fill/ lower fairing panel to fill the gap left by the standard exhaust included in the deal!!

I like them allot, initially that's what I was gonna buy for mine until I read some reviews.

Personally it's the only exhaust I like aesthetically more than standard.

So I'm now a bit confused what to do, leave standard or go for something I don't really like the look of as much. If only the standard exhaust was a tad louder.

Lee I was in the same predicament at first. I'd read reviews about them being too loud etc etc. But I also didn't like the look of much else or the position they are in when fitted.

I haven't found that it runs any differently at all, it hunts a little when idling whe you first fire it up, but is fine when riding. I have the baffle in now permanently and it's eliminated the unsteady idle and is also not as loud.

You could get the exhaust set up properly which most manufacturers recommend anyway or just stick it on and ride the thing!

Hey Paul. So you have no lumpy or cammy idle at all now? I have a great lumpy idle with the Yoshi!!

Hi Nigel.....yeah with the baffle in the idle is exactly as it was with the standard exhaust fitted. Plus brings the noise down a few decibels.

I sprayed the baffle with heat resistant matt black paint to so you can barely see it and it doesn't spoil the aesthetics of the design either. I'll try and take some pics tomorrow as ones I've got it says the file is to big and I can' upload.

There's a pic of mine on my profile page so feel free to have a look, I'll upload a couple of stock photos from racefit website. They do a really nice little diffuser to fit in the end, nice little touch if you like the Moto gp look!

Here's the diffuser, you can't use the baffle with this though as it uses the same fitment.

Thanks for that, it's reassuring to hear something posistive about them. Maybe I'll keep an eye out for a 2nd hand one.

Any idea how load it is with baffle in compared to yoshi / ackro etc? You can get an idea how it sounds from YouTube but not really how load.
