But the funny bit is, it's now made in the same place as king dick and some mac tools stuff. Nothing wrong with the quality, my halfords stuff has done 3 race seasons spannering with not one fault.

It's not the quality of the tools its the quality of the service with Halfords. There tools are great for people who are not worried about brand

Right Peps, I want a new too after falling in love with my BIL Impact Wrench

So what would people recommend? I normally just use a ratchet set or spanners But after having the fun of the Impact Wrench it really helped shorten time working on cars/bikes

My best Air and Batt Impact guns are made by Ingersol Rand I have a 2135Ti 1/2 gun that is just the best!!! Much better than ANY of the snap-on guns I have its just too good imo, super quiet too..

Here is a cheaper one but still a nice gun..

    My batt gun

    My Air gun

I have a few others like Snap-On 3/8 etc etc etc but the IR is all you will ever need so much control from landrover wheel nuts too M8 bolts etc

How much, as this would be my first i would imapact power tool. Agree on the buy cheap buy twice BUT also everything is only worth it's warranty. BIL told me last night a 18watt 3/8 Snap on was £270 Plus vat. expensive but not £400+

Ingersol looks good but was hoping for a leccy one not air tool. I have a compressor but it's only a small cheap on
