Can anyone recommend a decent hugger for my RR-7?

I’d prefer one that offered a little more clearance for a 55 profile tyres (and tyre warmer!).

Carbon would be nice too I suppose.
Don’t really want a gloss black one.

Took a punt on this one off eBay:

    https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/232513916351

Looked ok but fitment is poor (see pics) so I’ll be returning it. The holes will align but you have to stretch the hugger to the point where it feels like it’ll break at the mounting points.
Another knock on effect is that when it’s stretched it makes the lip of the hugger almost touch the tyre as well so not ideal.

I think I’m going to go for this Tyga one:

I have some Tyga bits on my wee MSX-125 and they are good quality.

Shame about the fit. You're right, it's a big call to 'stretch' carbon fibre that far. Shame cos it looked really nice; a bit more subtle than my massive blue thing! Credit to the eBay supplier though, making a refund a 'no questions' matter.

    How about no hugger whatsoever?

Im actually warming to the clean look and exposed back wheel. I’ve fitted cap screws to plug the unused holes.

I only do dry miles so much wouldn’t be a big issue.

Hmm. I don't know whether the 'naked rear wheel look' will catch on, although on a clean bike it is a clear winner. The shorter carbon ones do look good, whereas my OEM is overkill. I actually bought it to 'fill in' what I thought was a bare rear end - therefore totally opposite to what you've just achieved!!

The problem with us dry mile riders is that there will always be an occasion where we're caught out. Sure, it's only an extra 30 mins cleaning though.
