    All

I have a 2013 fireblade and the missus wants to get me something for my birthday so I said some money towards a new exhaust, so she has decided to buy one for me (very nice of her), anyway i know it is largely subjective and down to individual taste but I am looking at the scorpion RP1-GP it has handmade in England, the titanium will look nice against my silver swingarm, it is not obnoxiously loud and wont give me big gains in power ( i understand that) but it will look alot nicer than stock.

I was wonder what peoples views are on the exahust, I just want to be a little different from SC Project and Austin Racing which are very popular right now and can't bring myself to a Akra or Yoshi just for looks and sound so gather this is a good compromise.

Does anyone have a view or experience of Scorpion exhausts?

    Thanks

I have one on my 2014, a bit different to the 2013 version but it's of good quality and well made. Also road legal in the UK if that's a concern. I too went for the titanium version, just think it's a better material imo for an exhaust. It's pretty small and unobtrusive so maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but I like it.
Sounds better than stock with baffle in, sounds really good with baffle out.

Yep, does look rather 'discrete'. Does it blow exhaust gunk onto your swing arm?

Nice set of rearsets, by the way!!

@Blade runner 1 That is nice, I like the discreetness of it all, nice fairing panel, which comes with it I think, how and where did you get one from to match the other side?

    Cheers

It doesn't blow anything onto the swingarm. As far as I am aware the rp1-gp for 2008-2013 models points up a bit more and sits away from the swingarm a bit more, it also has a bracket round the silencer.

Yes the rear sets are great thanks.

The 14-16 Scorpion exhaust doesn't have a dedicated panel. I bought a 12-13 panel and modified it to fit then painted it.

[The Scorpion link pipe for the 14-16 is a bit bulky and I think they just didn't bother making a panel for it. I think the idea was to show off the link pipe].

Do a search online for some pics before you make a decision as the 12-13 does look a bit different from the pic I posted. I was initially commenting on the quality.
