I see Arai dealers have put the prices up of all the RX-7V helmets. Even the ones they already had in stock, charging an extra £90. Cheeky barstewards. Kicking myself for not buying at Motorcycle Live. That'll teach me to want to give the local dealer a chance to match the show deal when I got back.
I see your point Kevin. Since I have been riding Motorcycles I have worn Arai helmets. Since I can remember I have always used RX7s etc. I guess I have always set myself up for the price, but I love them. They are great Helmets. Look great and fit great.
I noticed the same yesterday, all of the range have increased in price. I'm due a new lid, nearly bought before xmas, but decided to wait, wish i hadn't now
I noticed the price rise as well - been looking out for the 2018 TT edition, which will be out soon. See what it is like.
Bang on. There's a medium HRC on a Facebook Fireblade Owner's Club for 500 or offer. Not sure if it's black or red and blue. I would have been a starter, but need Large or XL.
Have a look here, there are plenty Arai RX-7V sales.. https://www.fc-moto.de/en_GB https://www.fc-moto.de/epages/fcm.s...PreDefString_en_-1346546931=Full+Face+Helmets
That's a lovely crash hat that Dave, I wanted one of these but AGV don't fit my head very well. I got a Shark Race-R-Pro Zarco in the end.
In 20 odd years I always used to buy Arai, the build quality and design was worth it. I just can't justify the price now in comparison to the competition, the world has changed and others have caught up. I've now got 2 X-Lite 802RR Carbon's for less than one Arai. The quality is comparable and the weight of the X-Lites is light years ahead.
