The guys in the dealership went out to have a look at the screen, they'd never seen one before. Quality wise I thought it was on the same level as the Honda part.

Yeah I know what you mean, at least with the EU for the time being there's no import charges.

My only other regret was not getting the sp1 as the standard one is good so the sp must be really good??

I'd convinced myself to buy the SP and had asked for pricing on both. I know this might sound a bit soft, but in the last year I'd only just let my boy go pillion and he'd have been gutted if I'd bought something with a single seat.

It’s not daft at all, I done that once had a new R12007 he wanted to come on the back so I traded in for a new fz1 then after two months he didn’t like going on the back ha ha

I rang a couple of dealers about trading my matt black one in they weren’t interested at all one offered me £10500

    Typical eh. :)

I can imagine, trying to trade anything back is a mare unless you've kept if for a while or you're paying well over the odds at the other end.

How is the Puig screen working for you? Any pics? Does it offer more protection? I've come from a VFR and I feel pretty exposed. :)

    Sore point that.

Just dealing with the seller to get it swapped out. It arrived yesterday and they'd put it in a large enough box but no padding. Looks like the end of the screen was up against the box wall and Mr Parcel Force hadn't been gentle. The tip had been smashed off.

They are just arranging a collection and swap out.

I have used one before on my 2015 and it looks identical. It's not quite as long as a double bubble but it looks more in keeping with the bike and it lifts more airflow than the standard screen. It's also similar quality to the Honda part, when it's not broken!
