Any experts here that can tell me what the difference is between these two parts please? 08F74-MFL-800A 08F74-MFL-8000-02 Its a rear seat cowl for an 11 plate Repsol Blade. The first is what is fitted now , but appears unavailable, the second one I can obtain but I'm worried about fit and colour match. Thanks.
I've got the 2nd one on my 11 repsol it's been on since new so not sure how much paint has faded around it but here's some pics & there's more pics of bike in full in my studio if you need to look at it in situ overall...
I was puzzled by the same numbers. Just found this. http://www.doble.co.uk/content/pdfs/accessories/09/Sports.pdf If you look at the bottom left of Page 2, you will see the part numbers for the relevant colours. Repsol has the 800A code. I wonder, Lozzy, if yours might have been white and has been resprayed?
Well, I suppose they could have both been Chinese black ones!! But Lozzy, you know I don't know the history of your bike, and that's why I made the assumption that yours might have been sprayed. I also know that Honda is not very good with its colour matching between parts and accessories, because my rear hugger, although OEM Pearl Spencer Blue is clearly two or three shades lighter than the tank and fairings. Anyway, this doesn't help Rothmans74 who's probably given up on us and headed off to buy an R1.
