I'm more than happy to ride it back for you Nigel.........it'll be cheaper than a van & I promise not to trigger any speed cameras.
I really need to stop reading these other bike threads. So Far I've looked at Ape RS250's, Duke 749/999/848's, an Urban Tiger Blade, 954 Blade and Honda SP1/2. It's really not good for my health, especially if her indoors noticed another bike in the garage.
As usual, you're there with another fine offer. I'm sorry to decline. After seeing your bike pics I reckon you'll head for every puddle you can find!! But thanks anyway!
Crafty and really, if I thought I could get away with it . . . . no, she's tidies the garage more than I do.
I made a mistake, I married a PE teacher. Don't get me wrong she's not Miss Trunchbull, but spiders are not a deterrent.
Hmm....how about these then... I'm looking after this new bike that's appeared, for my mate whose garage has burnt down?!? Or I'm building something very special for you in the garage for next Xmas darling, I'd be obliged if you didn't go in there...
My usual thing is to start looking at stuff, research it to death and constantly tell her about. After about 2 weeks she just accepts it's going to happen, gives me death stares and doesn't want to hear another thing about it ever again. Problem is I've just done that with the new Blade.
You sound just like me......once i get an idea in my head, its going to happen. After hours and hours on my phone researching whilst sat watching TV with the sound of "what are you looking at" ringing in my ears. Once i've finally took the plunge and bought my current obsession.......the whole process starts all over again!!
I hope this goes well for you on Saturday. I just had another look through the pics and it does look very clean. Being a Scot he'll probably try and talk the price up when you start negotiating. I'll be looking forward to hearing how it goes and seeing the pics of you riding it in your new helmet.
I have one in the black and like them very much, absolutely stunning to look at. I agree that the Red/silver MV with the silver star wheels are classic mv but the black one looks as good but different. The way the engine revs up is very special, and i enjoy riding them above some more exotica that i have. I only rode my sp2 twice. Every ride feels like an occasion to cherish so you will definitely enjoy it. As an FYI, I am unfortunately in an enviable position that i am considering letting mine go as i have run out of space and have a V4s waiting at the dealers which i can't pick unless i move one of the bikes into the house. If you're interested, its an 07 f4 in black/grey with 1800miles from new.
No worries Whichever one you go for, check out the radiator bracket fix amongst some common issues but simple fixes if it hasn't had it done yet.
