Had to be done should of done it a few months ago would of saved me a few quid. Can’t wait SP here we come
Jesus! That must be some kind of record, how many miles did your std blade have on it? Nice one, the SP is lovely! Did you not fancy waiting for a test ride on the new ducati V4?
I am a bit of a PX whore ha ha, but 0% and the £1500 off and the extras made it a good deal for me. No I am not a Ducati man.
If you don't mind a drive Colwyn Bay Honda have got a pre-reg for £17k. I nearly made the trip to look at this one. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2017-Pre...313691?hash=item466e9a411b:g:wOkAAOSwX3FZ9IIj
Cresent Honda Southampton bought my last 3 there bit of a road trip but its worth it, shame as my local dealer is 10 miles away but just cant deal with them, I messaged them and enquired and the email I got back was we are not interested in your 17 plate PX.
I just bet Honda UK Office wouldn't be too pleased to hear of that. Putting aside Southampton, it's a potential Honda sale lost!!
i picked my sp up 2weeks ago. px my 2014 blade for it. still yet to get out on it though, had a yoshi&tail tidy fitted at the dealer. sounds a beast
Build quality is shocking on the beemer, two mates have them, gearbox is awful down blipper is awful on paper the torque isn’t far of what is on the blade but when riding the bmw feels like it doesn’t have any very much a 3 rd gear bike.
Interesting to read these views on the Beamer. They used to be 'way up there' for build and rideabilty. Perhaps that's a legacy of moving from their niche market of touring bikes and trying to rush through sports machines. The TYCO machines have been faring reasonably well on the tracks though.
Seems to be more interest in the Aprilia at the moment. Nice looker AND supposedly a good ride. The question follows: Is Honda losing pace in the sports bike scene? Does the Blade need to offer more than just a new paint job and price increase each year?
I think the Blade will stay as Honda's road bike for the masses and the V4 1000 will be the more exotic road/track bike, when they eventually get around to launching it.
