£5000 will get you a really clean low mileage RR7 , take a look at MCN bike reviews it might help you

Not having the best of luck finding one unfortunately. Seems 20k plus miles is the norm for that money at the minute. One question; how come that colour scheme seems to come with a unpainted swingarm instead of the black swingarm?

I think it’s the HRC colours with the unpainted after some research. All have gold wheels too I believe

Managed to colour code a few things as you can tell, lol.
    A few carbon bits.
Led rear light with integrated indicators, led flush mounted front indicators.
Still need to find the time to fit my red silicon hoses.
But my favourite out of all my mods, is my quad pipes.

    Excellent job, Lardy.

Two questions: Is that a 'stock' helmet or do you have an airbrushing talent?

AND, why the two feed lines to the front right disc? (I assume the left is the same). Cheers.

Found a tri colour 155miles away from me. All checks out. Seller is an enthusiast and very open with pics and details etc. It has more miles than I’d like at 23.5k but am going to see it. The seat cowl is a Chinese copy. Do honda still sell them new?

Ah now your talking, the tri colour is by far the best colour combo......ask Nigel if you don' believe me!!

    Is it an RR6/7 or RR8/9 ??

Them Chinese seat cowls are pretty good copies, just stick a HRC sticker on it an you'll be reet (just make sure it's mm straight) or you'll a world of abuse though haha :D you can get them on eBay if you're not happy with it though.

That’s what I though. Misses got me a new helmet for Xmas and it matches perfectly which is a plus . Hoping it’s as good in the flesh. Looks very clean and unabused so that’s a good start. Seller very happy to oblige with my multiple requests for info and pictures etc. It’s a 7 and standard so I can stick my own touches on it as and when. I’m a cnc machinist by trade so no doubt will make some goodies for whatever bike I get

Sure am. Don’t want to be making two trips so will take a van and cash. Hoping a wad of cash will reduce the price he wants for it .

Make loads of parts for golfs and Audi TTs at the minute in my spare time once I’ve got a bike may start making parts for that too...

Very wise, and true, Paul. A buyer should never show their hand and never LOOK excited, despite the fact that we are!!

Pay attention to the length of MOT time, and check as much as possible. (I failed to check lights on a recent purchase and paid the penalty. Still happy with the deal though:)) In saying that, my seller also was very forthcoming with information. A bike with 'high' mileage that has been well maintained will still be a good purchase, ALTHOUGH some concession should be made for the mileage.

And I support PauloHRC in his assertion of tri colour being the best colour combination. It reflects Honda's heritage. I won't criticise fellow member Tezza's belief that 'Red and Black is faster'; it's probably hair blowing from under the helmet that makes such an illusion!!:D:D.
Nice helmet, by the way. It's a re-worked Mick Doohan helmet. His GP version had narrower 'strips'.
