Sorry about the curious title, but is anyone using anything like this to move bikes in confined spaces? If so, is there a preferred brand? Cheers. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorcyc...287516&hash=item5681d1c8d4:g:OG8AAOSwoVNaQejq
I would be more inclined to purchase a lift instead ie jac or warrior, then at least in has more purposes
Yep, fair call, Slick. I do have the ABBA stand and could get the ABBA Moto Glide to suit, but I am restricted to a small shed space with small turning area - hence the requirement (and added cost, of course) of the 'roll on, roll off' facility of the narrower 'dolly' type contraption. I am considering just rolling the front wheel onto a square skateboard type roller and just spinning the whole bike around on its axis.
ABBA stands do one that fits their stand, bit more expensive though https://abbastands.co.uk/product-detail.asp?item=moto-glide&pid=32
Thanks Simon. I'd already acknowledged and noted that in my post of 1.43 PM, above yours. Whilst the ABBA is a good sturdy unit, when used in conjunction of the superbike stand it is inconveniently wider than the basic 'dolly' model. Cheers.
Looks like a safe way to spin the bike around , have seen people spin them around on the side stand but that is putting a lot of stress through the hinged part of the side stand
