Hi I just bought an exhaust wadding kit off ebay, it came with everything you need.

The picture is of the kit and an example of how to wrap and secure the wadding with the steel cable ties. I didn't take a pic of my baffle once I'd done it unfortunately but it looked good, just make a tidy job of it.

Obviously when the baffle is fitted you can't see anything thats inside! Works a treat and even idles better! Not 100% sure of the results in how much it's reduced the decibels but I'll find out for sure next in 2 weeks when I go and get it sound tested at Oulton Park!

They're really good at Racefit like that, how many other exhaust manufacturers would do that for you!

Hmm thats nice..but unfortunately I'm 99% sure that It won't help since even baffled racefits don't pass db tests ..I'm actually curious to see what results does PauloHRC get since I have my doubts...it's an exhaust meant to sound loud however you put it..But I do hope it works and in that case I'll consider either swapping it for a growler 2 or getting Racefit to do the same for me..tho how much it costed u?

I've just ordered..different sprockets..rearsets...a pair of renthal grips and an HRC quick throttle thingy but without the cables..and I'll try to fiddle with it until it works like tuktuk suggested.

NOW if I could only find a place to setup my suspension without going 100miles..I might just give this a go myself and see how I like it...feel so annoyed...live in London and u can't find a God damn proper bike shop..not for race suits...not for bike tuning/setup.

ill Platt shit if a racefit passes any test, even with a pillow wrapped around the out side of it,
insanity is there no track near u, sometime get tech guys there, plus u could test them smashing lap record,
if not be worth the 100miles

I've had a look at that option to be fair but it seems like that would only be at brands hatch which is where I usually go and unfortunately my booked track day got canceled due to weather now I'm waiting to see when can I get a booking for a saturday/sunday..tho it seems like there are none available anytime soon with MSV.

can anyone advice if taking one of the few setups on this forum like the one from kais.. would it be a big difference between fiddling with that a bit..and just flat out going somewhere far to get it done professionally..I mean is it really worth the hustle? Its not like I've got aftermarket suspension..it couldn't be too many options to fiddle with. I'm not sure if I've made clear where I'm trying to get ..

Yes I know about infinity, my old R3 and a laguna seca suit was from them..but they are quiet poor this days..not too many options..plus if u look for top of the line stuff u won't find it..example..dainese full metal 6 gloves ..had to order everything from sportbikeshop..ordered the dainese full metall 6..got the wrong size..replaced it quick and with no hassle..guys there are great...anyway my point is that its LONDON...its the capital and you're supposed to find pretty much everything and not go 300 miles out ...sometimes I feel like I'd be better of in Manchester :)))

BTW since u might know some place I don't....know any place that would do suspension setup in London?

There's a J&S in Eltham that do loads of stuff...not the best, they took over all the old Hein Gericke shops I think.

Bought the end cap for the Racefit for about £50; tried doing it myself but I couldn't get the existing flat end cap off so sent the lot up to Racefit who did it for free.

Its take a really really good timing to change up near redline (where else would you change anyway when you go fast :DDD, if you do get one make sure you get one with blipper; its one of these thing that once you have it you can't go back, much like fuel injection :D

If you want to massively improve handling, all you need to get is a light weight front wheel, and of course lighter tyres like S21 helps as well

Yes I have the S21 installed tho I think the next time I change them it will be with a pair of Metzeler Racetec RR as I've heard good things and I seem to have stuck with Bridgestone forever already..need to know what the rest feel like nowadays.

Funny you said that because I was the same until a month ago:D, got some M7RR on mine but they were rated better than they perform, especially on track compare to the S21, well the choice only because I still ride my blade all weather otherwise I would go for RS10 or supercorsa or Racetech.

Hmmm interesting, do you find the bike lean faster with them? Yeah I also ride my bike in all weathers but I think racetech can still manage...Tho I don't go out when its heavy raining or all that stuff.. RS10 and Supercorsa's life are very limited plus idk I'f I'd dare take them out if its wet.

the M7RR's transition and initial lean a touch faster but not as stable as the S21 at lean; saying that it could be down to low track temperature because last time when I was on the same bike on track with S21 it was end of sept.

also was with a mate that day which he have S21, S21 definitely hold heat a lot better; I will have to see if the performance picks up with the weather:D

Keep me updated if you don't mind, to be honest I prefer a more stable lean then a faster one...Anyway I still have some time to think about that since the tyres have plenty of thread on them still.. I'll consider everything..might also go for 190/55 instead of the stock 50.

Yeah, I'm not really prepared to throw that much cash on them atm...might be doing a suspension upgrade sometimes later in summer. Thanks for the link tho. For this week I'll just set the sprockets..rearsets and the hrc quick throttle I just got plus some other small bits.
