Hi everybody! As some of you may have seen in my presentation, I did a big service on my bike this winter. It's a 2010 bike and I wanted to update it a little bit to match some of nowadays "standards". That's why I choosed to install some parts of the 2012+ bike. Here you can see few mods like the Brembo M4 calipers, G-Plus red cooling hoses (that I installed using Samco collars, don't trust in G-Plus one), the black covering of the high beam and smoked one for the low beam. And there the three mods I did to update it! The digital dashboard of the 2012+ bike gives a big feeling of modernity to the bike, compared to the analog dashboard. I got the chance to find it second hand, with almost exactly the same mileage as the bike, for only 140€. Then you have to use the 2012+ front harness, which I bought 40€ second hand. It's still not like the gameboy of a R1 but still appreciable if you don't want to spend at least 15000€ for a road bike The 2012+ rear shock cost me 100€ and was in pristine condition. The seller said it had only 4000km and I think I can trust him. Only thing you have to do is to change the rear hugger for a 2012+, because the piston of the shock is much bigger. I choosed a TheCarbonKing carbon rear hugger. Looks really good (and not blurry in real life XD) I feel really happy because it's like having a new bike for this season!
Looks really good, especially with the Brembos. The best enhancement, of course, is the 'HRC' sticker - gives you an instant 5 bhp.
Thanks ! I remember in december when I was removing the very firsts parts... I'm relived that everything is finished today ! These HRC stickers are the icing on the cake
Bought it there http://www.krazy-light.com/film-covering-phares/52-vinyl-covering-pour-phares.html But not sure it is interesting for you because of shipping costs to UK ! You should be able to find it in UK too, it is especialy for headlight, cars or bike
