my mate had 2 sets, he loves them, i'd prob try them if I was buying a set at this time of year, think they won a review last year, he's a bmw rr and they last well too, i'd still buy mets rr for summer riding,

Cheers roboticus. After doing some heavy research, it appears they're more a track tyre than a street/road tyre. Having said that, many of us are not overly concerned with getting high mileage out of a GOOD sports tyre!

Mate of mine started using those as he got a good deal compared to the Metzelers. Think hes on his 3rd set now so cant be too bad, he puts them through their paces too.

I suppose it depends what you're after, outright grip for warm dry roads or something more of an all-rounder?

Even though I don't ride all year round these days I still prefer more of a road bias to my tyres; especially with sports touring tyres being so good. I do ride on some cold damp roads at this time of year and as the season fades, so I willingly sacrifice a little warm weather grip.

Is it for road riding or track? I think Michelin class them 50:50 track:road.

Suppose if you generally ride in the dry they’ll be ok, but all comes down to how they’ll be used.

As an aside, I’m getting some Pilot Power 3’s next which are more road biased and with excellent wet grip. Crap for track apparently though but don’t need them for that!

Are they really ok in the wet, look pretty slick?

Nup, I'm road only, AND a pussy dry weather rider. The only water I see is in my coffee and monthly shower!:D

Seem OK and I'm still here :) However I don't push it on the road and especially in the wet.
