    Hi guys,

I'm sure it's been here, but..

What mods would you recommend doing and what are the benefits of doing each one of them?

Mostly interested in flaps removal, o2 sensor, decat etc., which ones do I have to have a custom map installed for it to run well?

I'm getting a power commander but it will take me a while to get it all done and then mapped.

Want to know what to do now and why
.. And what to leave for later when I'm putting the PC on

    Thanks a lot!

Most will say suspension tune - and I agree. I bought mine with Yoshi slip on and think it's a good look and good sound. Braided brake lines are a good move, as is removing pillion pegs (which we've discussed in your other threads).

Perhaps other thinks are personal 'cosmetic' tastes. Rim tape; seat cowl; screen; smaller number plate, etc.

I'm really mostly looking just into the various sensors and flaps removal etc. What is the benefit of doing them and which ones require me to run a custom map on a PC etc.

I've done the lines, tapes, cowl, air filter upgrade, aftermarket can, hooks, tail tidy, screen etc. All the small things are done mostly.

Suspension is something I want to get to but I want to get the 12+ shock first before I start tuning anything. I agree that's a really good thing to get done

You can do the flapper mod, it's free and it saves some weight on the bike.
You can also do the PAIR mod, it will be necessary if you want to tune your engine then. It also saves weight ;)
If you want to go further, you can also install venturi velocity stacks.
With all these mods, an aftermarket airfilter and a decat exhaust, you will have a nice power gain with a custom PC map.

I put wheels from a 2013 blade on my 09 blade. Looks 10 times better.
