in the market for a lid.

    Either of these two

    HJC RPHA 11

    Or

    Shoei X-Spirit 3

    Any body used either ?

I've got a HJC Rpha 10 plus and it's easily the best helmet I've ever owned. Not much wind noise, extremely comfortable and comes with a pinlock anti fog insert. Styling is spot on too!

I can only imagine the Rpha 11 is marginally better!

I’ve got the RPHA 10 plus too, went to that from an Arai RX-7 and it’s easily as good and quieter plus a third of the price. I’d still have an Arai but couldn’t justify the price.

HRC Rpha +10 is very quiet and well built, but will be changing to the 11 when I finally change the bike.
Demon Tweeks have some good offers at the moment.

Of no help to @stupot because I have a couple of AGVs (K-3) but I too have been looking at HJC but am waiting for a bit of a price reduction. I guess the colour choice is obvious:

I had an xspirit 2, great helmet and would have no complaints having another. I can only imagine the 3 is even better, just cant get away with the designs of most if them.

Xlite also seem quite popular, decent carbon lids at a good price.

Cheers, I’ve ordered both from Sportsbikeshop and I’ll try them for size etc c and return the one I don’t want.

I’m liking the military monster design of th
    HJC.

+1 for RPHA 11, for myself the RPHA fits a lot better to my head shape.

It comes with 2 Visor which is a bonus and way cheaper, Picked mine up the year before at NEC bike show for about 200quid.

A bonus is Cardo do a new build in intercom for RPHA 11 where the for Shoei is still the same 4-year-old unit.

Shoei x-spirit 3 all day long...its a stunning helmet. Owned one over a season and had no complaints. Great fit, quality, quiet and has a fantastic ventilation system. but here's the only thing I will say. It's a little on the heavy side! But saying that it wouldn't put me off purchasing another. Just look at the reviews. Loving the new AGV Pista R but you 100% need earplugs...the lightest lid I've ever worn. I'm not a great fan of HJC and have never owned one. Tried one on once and couldn't get it off quick enough.

And as tuktuk mentioned... try the X-Lite... another fantastic lid for the money.. if a little noisy

Haha. I nearly made a wise crack about that helmet on the thread last night, but held my tongue - just in case someone really DOES have one. I guess my restraint was justified!! :D:D:D

    Cheers for the input lads.

Both lids arrived and Sportsbikeshop are extremely organised and do what they say.

HJC way to tight and doesn't really fit my head. Very nice lid though and I must admit I am a little disappointed its no good for me.

Shoei is dead on in every way, fits perfect.

    HJC going back.

I ordered the Shoei X spirit 3. Have had the AGV K4 for 5 years. So looking forward to my new lid now!
