Hi guys before i buy a standard can i wanted some info. Recently purchased a 08 blade for track, it has a gpr exhaust with a suspect baffle. Im concerned its to loud for most trackdays. What cans do you have and what tracks do you pass on? Any recommendations for a slip on that has low dbs but good performance.

I believe the underseat exhausts weren't as loud as the side exits on the later models...

Think you might be right. My RR4 is very quiet with standard exhaust, way quieter than the 2011 standard.

My bike has failed track day noise limits with a racefit growler 2 fitted with a baffle. Decided to just use standard exhaust for trackdays from now on and put the Racefit on for road use. Oh the irony of it all.......I thought about buying another exhaust can that would pass noise tests but what's the point? Extra money for something that could get trashed should you bin it!

Fair point you make paulo. Looks like im going to have to buy a standard exhaust for back up. Unless someone can name a can that will pass most track days.

So did your extra wadding in the Racefit baffle idea not work? Hell of a lot easier than changing cans every few weeks!

No failed miserably at 109 db! !

It's not so bad changing over, only takes 20 mins. I can live with that!

Has your Growler 2 turned up yet??

I'm in the same boat. My 2009 rr converted from road to track bike.

When on road I had a Yoshi, with baffle it blew about 102, I pinched the baffle and got it to 100.6

I then just bought a dominator supposed to be 98db blew 103 @ snetrerton.

I am now looking at mhp exhaust they seem to be mustard

Hi mate been in contact with mhp but they are pricey exhausts. Got blacked flagged twice at donny with 2xdb killers in my gpr exhaust, static is ok its just the flyby triggering me.
