I read that yesterday...I bet the programme was interesting. Excellent work by the investigator to bring that guy to justice who could easily have got away with his appalling action
Another pathetic sentence dished out by our legal system despite overwhelming evidence. On the other hand, incredible work by those who pieced together the evidence, truly amazing work.
And, more than likely, he'll be out in 4. Very interesting read, and relays to the public what some of us have to put up with. There is still a stigma attached to riding motorcycles. Excellent work by the police investigators.
I also read that yesterday. Got increasingly angry as I got further and further down the article. If there's one type of person I really cannot abide it's guys like that. People so crushed under the weight of their own self-importance that they will risk the lives and reputations of others. And to make things worse, to sit there and just shrug and pretend you don't know anything about it just to save your skin. Much like a 3 year old would do. Utterly pathetic sentence. 15 years would've been more like it.
Left behind a wife & 2 kiddies as well. I think apart from a prison sentence part of their assets & future earnings should be put towards the victims family until at least they've grown up. It's not just the sad death it's the devestation it leaves.
