I'll be there on the 31st May until 5th June. staying at St Georges Campsite again. I was initially booked to stay at the refurbished Sarah's Cottage, where I will be marshalling from. But when the wife decided she wasn't going, I didn't want to stay out there away from everything on my own. And if I got anyone else to go, I wouldn't want to share a double bed with them. Ferry from Heysham as usual. Looking forward to it after missing out last year for the first time in a decade.
I'm down to be working on the IOM for a week at the beginning of May. So I'm not there for the TT, but you can bet I'll be taking the bike
Errr yep, here waiting! Joking aside it would be good to ride out with forum members, anyone fancy naming a day time and place or wait nearer the time till weather forecast could dictate!
How about this as a start.... try to be at the front, perhaps parking up towards the bridge at say 08.30-9am, or maybe it'll have to be earlier. Gives us time for a coffee bit of breakfast or whatever before the lap. It will be very busy though. Just throwing the idea out there.
Think the BBC put it at around 5,000. That was the 2014 one though. Cancelled last year as the race program for Sat was moved to Sunday. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-isle-of-man-27661505
Makes no odds to me but was that not 2015 ? It is just that a "new" style Yamaha R1 comes past the camera at 03:18 on the video - just thinking maybe that bike was not available in June 2014 ? Maybe I got it wrong, and like I say, makes no odds to me when it was ! (good turnout whenever it was !)
