I've bought these new led rear indicators

    http://www.oxfordproducts.com/motor...ignal_2/?PHPSESSID=17hgkda872pqtef9a1qnk42f01

Although they come with resisters, I want to get a new led relay fixed instead.
I've got a bit lost looking on line as to what is the most suitable.
So can anyone recommend an led relay for my 2016 Blade.

I've found this one which looks to be ok?!?

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Flasher-...nda-Hornet-CB600-CB1000-07-2017-/321343363820

Also...am I right in thinking it's situated behind the nose cone? Is it easy to get to?
    Cheers guys...

The relay in the eBay link looks like it should do the job, maybe someone could confirm.
You're right about the location, our friends from Japan have hidden it behind the nose cone. Here is a link that shows you how to get to it.

If the resistors work they could save you a lot of hassle.

Cheers for that, the garage will be doing it at the same time as the other mods are fitted. But I just wondered how long a job it looked to fit the relay in case I need to flog a kidney for the labour costs!

    Any particular reason?
I've used the resistors on my rear indicators but would like to understand if there is any issues etc? or it's 'better' to have a newer relay?

Only because sometimes there appears to be issues with resisters supplied, as in them not working properly and also generating a lot of heat. So reading between the lines I think that's why for the sake of £20 some folks pop the relay on instead. Although looking at the installation vid above it looks like it's the usual Honda faff to get at it. I've tried looking for any review comments on possible issues with the indicators & attached resisters I've bought but there's nothing yet.
I'm going to have a chat with my mechanic & see what he thinks.

Depends on where it is Loz.
Mine's just behind one of the fairing side panels, but I am aware of the ever increasing complexity of removing stuff on newer bikes.

@ hitch Reliability and aesthetics. I have resistors on mine, but they flap around if not secured properly. Best way is to get rid of the faff and swap the relay out for one that won't flash so fast that it sends you in to an epileptic fit.

Edit: You kind of beat me to it as I had opened the thread and then popped out before replying. That will teach me to refresh the page next time :D

On my 2011 It's clipped on to the back of the light cluster with a rubber holder thingy (technical term) not sure if you can reach it with just the lower trim piece removed. Otherwise you'll probably have to remove the upper cowl. (assume it's in a similar place on the later bikes)

If you can find a really cheap standard relay on eBay you can modify it, if the later bikes use the same type:
