You may want to blur out the house number and road name on the pic. Put together with your previous posts you have given people an easy chance to find your bike.
thats a great looking bike only one thing spoils it ??? whats you say them stickers on the swinger arm lol
No mate, have 200 miles left till the first service so going to get that done first to save any ‘awkward conversarions’ Hopefully have it on next week!
Well was out a good blast to Donegal Town last night and have 500 miles done now so going to get the bike booked in for it’s first service. The run there should clock up the final miles. Also changed the screen from zero gravity Corsa to MRA double bubble as it wasn’t high enough for me. Was out with the mate on his new s1krr
Yeah, what is it with those 'alleged' screens? I've got more plastic in my glasses then the Blade screen! Fortunately for me, I don't go fast enough to get buffeted.
Yeah the thing is the zero gravity corsa that I put on my cbr600 was amazing, super high and wide. That’s what they use for road racing. However when I bought it for the blade it was actually 0% higher than the standard just a tad wider so was rather disappointed. Seen on Instagram that a few lads had went with the MRA so bought that and it’s approx 2 half inches higher which makes a huge difference on the road!
I put a Yoshi on mine and it had 1st service yesterday , and no conversation over the exhaust , but it took a good clean as the chain lube they used splattered and made a right mess of rear wheel , but its done so its now time to have a play when the weather changes its pissing down in Hull , lol
Keith I know what you mean. The first thing I tell them now is please do not lube the chain. After I fell foul of them putting tons on once and it went everywhere.
THAT was exactly my instructions a couple of weeks ago when I had my 2011 serviced. I don't know whether it's just laziness or lack of care that makes some technicians 'overdo' the lube. I'll bet they're not so insensitive in their marital relations!
I hate getting my bike serviced, I know it needs doing but normally comes back in no where near the condition I dropped it off at. They treat a 20k superbike the same as a knackered 125 commuter.
Ah, the Spouse Special has made a guest appearance. Frig that looks good. My dealer had one recently. Strange thing is that they look much better (to me) in a pic than close up in real. Nice to see the original exhaust. Might be a cumbersome looking thing, but they have a great note over the 4,000 rpm 'magic mark'. Just as a tip, perhaps you might suggest to Mrs Ratser to allow you to take off the rear numberplate and cover it with black vinyl book cover - or satin black spray paint. Gives it a nice cleaner look. (Pic shows example - and another excuse for a photo opportunity)
Well when I got home from the first service today I fitted the sc project! And it is SUPER loud! Haven’t even fitted the headers yet I’m in love
Yep, that looks really good, especially the way it complements the lines of the rear end. Nice looking paddock stand too!
