Hi guys, Has anyone experience with CENTAUROSHOP with regards to a full replacement set of body parts. My 2014 HRC blade would look great in TT Legends colours and it'll probably cost a grand to get a top respray. CENTAUROSHOP charge €959 for a full replacement body kit which might be a better option if it's any good as that would mean I can keep the originals for whatever. The CENTAUROSHOP website address is http://www.centauroshop.it/duemilad...r1000rr-2012-2014-tourist-trophy-legends.html. They also have other kits for different designs.
Hi there. I'm wondering if they're just Chinese fairings being resold? You'll get better answers later on because a few on the forum have purchased/are purchasing Chinese replicas. They are cheaper and by all accounts a good fit.
I was after some and had the same thought, theres a company in Italy on flebay selling some for near £800, thinking they might be better, but I did a search and a page on facebook came up and a guy said the paintwork wasn't that great, u never know the might just order from china and send it on making a quick buck, but saying that it wouldn't surprise me if there made in Italy, u find most aftermarket parts companys are Italian. personally id buy the cheap ones, they be full of stone chips after a couple of outings anyway
I've just got some cheap chinese ones and the quality is pretty decent. I'll be fitting them in a few weeks so can take some pictures. had a look and the company i used don't have the TT Legends ones but I imagine there are ones that do. At that price for the Italian ones it would be a gamble if you can't check out the quality first, as coudld be no better than the chinese ones, but cost loads more.
I saw on ebay that the Chinese versions are going for £320 with £28 postage. The company is called lizhenzhen. Is that the same mob that you've bought yours from? They claim that their paintwork and fitting isn't as good as the Honda's. It seems that you are quite happy with yours.
Mine was UnitedFairings, @PauloHRC got his from there too. We got them mainly for track but would look good for road too, there’s a few imperfections but you have to really look for them. Plus I think the ones I have are the cheaper end of the Chinese ones on offer, were about £240 with £27 customs fee on top.
My guessing is they're all Chinese but some company's buy them up and sell them on for profit as was said previously! Mine are an almost perfect fit and I went for a matte black finish so there a little if no imperfections at all! If you go for a paint job, thoughts are its not going to be perfect but at £242 plus customs charge of £27 quid it's a no brainer!
iPad camera is pants look better in the flesh. Here’s the tank cover, you can see a few of the little marks
I don't think that would worry even me. Great looking colour scheme. It will look great on the bike. Perhaps get @PauloHRC over for 14 weekends to help fit it!
My Chinese ones were great, I would say 95% on quality, I then put some clear plastic stone chip protector on as I assume the paint wont be as hard
Jez, you're the man. Can you offer a link for the stone chip protector? (think I'll need 36 square metres!)
