I love my fishing. Though with work commitments I don't really get out much anymore. I like fishing for carp, pike, trout, grayling, and basically anything that's swims. I've got a few pics of some pike I've caught somewhere that I'll try and dig out.

LOL obsessive Carp and pike angler here PB: carp - 30.5 oz Common 26 lb Linear, 28 LB Mirror, 12.4 lb tench not had a gohstie and pike only just starting propper had a 9lb one haha had a 14 lb slabby bream to haha Fav Tackle shop: Carp Fever Manchester - Paul Adrian say Tom an phil sent ya in and tell him ill be fishing again soon haha Fav Lakes - Roman Lakes- recked now with weed - Linear Fisheries, Smiths and Hardwick - Oxlease - st Johns biggest brag is cleaning my local rock hard lake out with my mate peeps are lucky to catch one a time on there an thats at best one day of the many days after sussing the place I had 27 carp in a day 7 tench 1 mega roach and bout 9 bream LOL and my mate had 26 carp 3 bream and 4 tench we both had over 20, 20 lb carp in a month from it with my mate landing the lake record and me just being behind him by 1 LB haha stuffy sod were stunning lake originals mind. it went down the pan when people were getting there the night before the lake opened camping at the gate to get our peg best bit was when we ended up on the worst peg cause of it and caught shed loads haha. Cranked those alarms up something lovley that day was in carp talk with that, had a break over the past year though but on a propper mission this year once I figure where to go syndicate I tried year before last was good apart from getting kicked up at 2 am to find the darn members pass that was buried somewhere in the back of the bivvy had to empty the entire thing so that was enough of that place for me LOL epecialy when there overgrown tree had a mega branch fall down and destroy my rod pod and one of my fox alarms lucky i wasn't under it would have propper brained me LOL 30.5 LB common known as the big common in Oxlease at Linears before the floods happened propper under weight just my luck haha young 14 year old me tell ya playing a fish in gin clear waters when ur that young doesn't half make your legs shake hoping you land it haha few 20's aims this year 20+ lb pike anyone pike fish in the north west?
Morning Gixeric, some cracking fish there. I'm from the north west, most of my pike fishing I use to go back to Lincolnshire to the fens for the pike, but there are some good pike rivers in the northwest, the Wyre at St Michaels is pretty good, the Ribble if you can find them? Also the Crossens drain near Southport Also travelled to Scotland quite a lot, Loch Ken, Loch Maben etc, a few fish but mainly jacks, although I have witnessed a 30lb pike from the old bridge at Loch Ken so they are in there. On the rivers the key is to find the bait fish, usually where the roach hold up for the winter the pike won't be far away, as said previously sold most of my tackle for the biking now put still have a fair amour of pike gear, another good place mainly just for a bit of action is Anglesark by Rivington. Never did catch myself a 20lb pike, but I guess there's always time yet
Hi Gary u over on the nwb forum that avatar looks familiar SteeleRD on there haha notice the yami rd 350 lc theme LOL had stacks more but lost a load unfortunatley all I've got left >.< never forget all 3 rods taking of on romans we used to have to have my dad not actually with rods in the water just for when me an my mates other rods took of LOL then id do a stint not fishing and dad would fish was a mint year that really was then the owner ruined the place cutting the tress down on the back wall and letting it get choked with trees shame really thanks for the cracking reply my uncles had a fair few pike out of debdale in denton he had a 40 ish one once wouldn't actually go in the landing net at the time my dad and there other bro ended up in the water trying to land it was a real shame as it prob woulda been the lake record the size of the thing from what Im told anyway LMAO is teeming with them mind but you get so many idiots on there its a real shame have to check some of those places out realy glad I've got the ol 135,000 mile focus for the fishing can just about get a weeks worth of kit for 2 peeps in it haha just LOL also lankeys in harpourhey was meant to be a top pike water we've walked down there a few times but its pretty trashed now which is a shame choked with weed and no one fishes it gin clear and there were some mega fish cruising the surface easily double figure tench bout 20 of them and a few pikes in the margins worth taking a big group of peeps and some very cheap tackle down there and deffo day only haha Tight Lines, Tom
