Hey Paul, I don't want to discourage a Blade sale, but I think even if you find a dealer who will trade it, you could be short-changed on value. Depending on your location, I have had good p/x and customer service from https://www.bladegrouphonda.co.uk/ . You'll see they've got 3 outlets.
Thanks nigeirb. yes think i might get short changed on a p/x . Private sale it is then ... Anyone interested Lol.
Are you on the Ducati forum? Would be a good place to start. Just don't tell them you're looking at a Honda!!
Yes on a few forums will draft up "For Sale" advert . My 1299 is mint condition no problems with it at all . After 7 years on blades before the mighty Duc i want to return to what i love
Hi Paul.....speak to Glenn at Bellevue Honda when I traded my 848 in for my 2014 they took it .....he is a great guy to deal with ....they are in Southend.....do you not fancy a V4s or have you had enough of the red side....can't wait to get my sp....
Surprised your local dealer won't take the Pani in px - you would think they would have trade contacts who would buy it, even if they don't want it in their showroom. Try Craigs Honda, I think they are cheapest at the moment for Blade SP https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-Honda-CBR-1000-RR-SP-Fireblade-New-18-Plate-0-Finance/253655251799 Craigs deal in all sorts of makes and models used, and they do collection, delivery etc.
Im on the Ducati V4 forum and the amount of problems is putting me off ! Also the insurance is 3 times more than my 1299
Dealer sent me a pic today of bike arriving .....just waiting for exhaust to arrive then it's delivery time.....thanks for the heads up on the V4 that's why I didn't go back to Ducati to much drama....what issues are they having?? Also there finance is high which I fedback to a dealer and he told me I was living in the 90's.....typical Audi type attitude....so they can stick it....
[QUOTE="Wozza, post: 462716, .....thanks for the heads up on the V4 that's why I didn't go back to Ducati to much drama....what issues are they having?? ....[/QUOTE] Issues are little things like catching fire , fluid leaks, overheating ... nothing to worry about . I asked the dealer about the high %apr on finance and was told they dont want to give the bikes away .... Being competitive might help sell a few more bikes tho.
I just don’t see the point in paying over what is already an expensive toy for most.. 0% finance or no deal for me
Realistically when you can get an SP with tail tidy, tank pad, 3yrs servicing, akra can and 0% finance for £17k I don't think many folk on here would opt for the £24k V4s. And nor should they, the SP is a gorgeous road bike, so lovely to look at and already no longer looking over priced. Have to say though, if I wanted to own a very special bike and "money no object" id have the Ducati every day of the week. Think that bike will still be talked about in decades to come.
17k is for pre reg or 17 models only diffence being slight colour change 2018 are 19k......or you can pick up used for around 14.5k....bargain.....where's the days of £9995 gone it's all gone mental..
Congrats. I don't mind the blue, but that tops it by far! Just seems much cleaner lines than the Blade's 'chunky' appearance.
That is, as the young boys say “sic”! Awesome looking bike made even better by the colours, I always liked the blue but this is different! Enjoy
