Yep. There's a heap of stories about chipped rims from carelessness. I think it was @dgr who was a recent victim. Didn't happen with chrome rims and spokes
Bleedin' heck. It's now got to the stage where esteemed members post their Repsol DOWNHILL so they LOOK faster!!
Fitted the quad lock phone mount so now I can use the phone as a sat nav for longer more adventures journeys. Looks really neat and tidy, however I may spray paint the blue part black to match the bike :-0
Riveted the link pipe on my NC30 to the oem pipe, the exhaust paste had broken down, friggin end can pivoted as the link pipe moved and tucked in behind the number plate and melted half of it, should have done that properly after the same thing happened last year and melted the last plate. I must the the only biker who has number plates as consumables.
https://www.a1showplates.com/ I have used this company a few times, most recently just this week. Turnaround time was 19 hours! One of the best features, for those who care, is that the backing is plain black and not white with logos plastered all over it.
Had an early morning blast along the 'A' road to Worcester. Little traffic, many bugs. Got home and spent longer cleaning than the actual ride! But so what? A clean bike is a mean bike!
Washed bike at 5 this morning then a blast to Devil's bridge , even had a Casey Stoner slide round one of my fav corners , adrenalin got the better of me well in my head I was Casey Stoner
