The Image Works Vinyl Graphics seen this company from another post from by bluekontakt2004, been looking on their website at gel front number boards as i wanted 1 for my 2008 blade, sent them a message and they said they dont currently make 1 but if i was to bring my down to them i could help them to design 1 and get some discount of the final product which they would then start to sell, but sadly my bike will be off the road for the next 2 months getting it ready for next season, thought it was worth posting for anybody else who might live closer to them and can get your bike to them as i think it would be quite good to design your own number board, any body feel like being a good samaritan lol,
no sadly they are in derbyshire, near enough bang in the middle of the uk so there must be somebody near there
They're about 1 mile from my office mate, quarry hill industrial estate isn't it? I don't mind doing it but in the current weather I'm afraid my bikes staying put, if/when we get a dry day over the coming weeks I could possibly drop in, if I get time I might swing by tomorrow in the car and have a word.
I've got a spare front nose cone, if you want I'll send that down to you. It'll save you taking the blade in this weather.
If you want vinyl work doing, you want to be headin to Totally Dynamic, the people responsible for Pete hickmans chrome blade at final BSB round 2011. The Lincoln branch are artists at doing motorcycles.
Yup it'll probably be the easiest way mate. If you fancy doing that then let me know and I'll post it asap.
I have seen the work image works do in the flesh. you actually can't tell the work isn't original factory finished. that was looking at a rebuilt crached 918 blade. the left side was re painted and decals from image works, the right side was 100% original factory finish.
Vehicle wrapping - for all your vehicle wrap, vehicle wraps, bus wrapping and van wrapping requirements - Totally Dynamic - also looks good
Image works are fine, seen some good decals and lets be honest it's only a number board you want, Christ I reckon we could knock them out by the 1000's at work given all our kit and designers , problem is its time consuming and were slightly higher volume, the only other thing is the resin dooming , you gotta be careful as if it's laid down too thick the vinyl won't be pliable enough to sit where it needs to on the rounded contours of the nose cone, it was aright dick about when we designed up number boards for the RC8..., I spent hours after work prattling about with sizing etc Better leaving that type of stuff to guys who spend time doing it daily.
