Mirror blanks

    Any know a place that's sells mirror blanks for 08 onward blades for £20 or less R&g one £40plus only was them to look neat on a track day

    I got some on ebay for about six quid, they said they were for an R6 but the shape of the plate was pretty close to the mirror base plate. I got some 25mm grub screws to replace the ones supplied as they were too short, and they acted as the same way the standard mirror screws did. I actually only used one grub screw in each plate as the holes on the underside were ever so slightly different the the mirror spacing ones. Hope you can makes sense of this!

    I put some little honda wing decals on them as they had R6 etched into them. I tried sanding them down but it still showed through. Anyway like you say. ......only for track days!!!

    Does it matter which year r6 suppose if I was that bothered bout r6 logo I could skim them with filler and repaint lol

    Just pick the one that the screw holes are only visible from the underside. They look neater!

    Yes I was going to fill the etching but it was so shallow I just rubbed them down and sprayed them satin black.

    They're Chinese one but do the job perfect ! ;)

    A couple of the lads in the same garage as me at trackday yesterday had made some out of what looked like a reasonable thick Perspex type plastic. Prob cheaper to just buy some unless you can get some material for free :)
